Everything We Know About Leonida
The state, its six named regions, and the limits of what has been shown.

One state, six named places
Leonida is the fictional state in which Grand Theft Auto VI is set. Vice City sits within it, alongside Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
That list is complete as of today. Rockstar has not named additional regions, and we do not add any that appear only in speculation.
What official footage shows
Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and the August 2026 Extended Look show a mix of dense urban streets, coastal and island environments, wetlands, an industrial port area, small-town settings and forested park land — consistent with the named regions. The Extended Look adds extended water traversal through swamp and open sea, and dense Vice City street and nightlife scenes.
Visual glimpses are not specifications. None of the official footage establishes region boundaries, travel distances or total playable area.
The map-size question
Rockstar has not stated the size of the map. Every square-mileage figure in circulation is unverified, including figures presented with confidence and screenshots.
We label those Rumor and we do not repeat them as fact.
