Confirmed as a setting

Rockstar has confirmed Vice City as a setting for Grand Theft Auto VI, positioned within the wider state of Leonida. Trailer 1 announced the return; Trailer 2 showed considerably more of it.

This is the first mainline Grand Theft Auto set in Vice City since Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002.

What official footage shows of the city

Beachfront strips, a dense high-rise core, residential and commercial districts, and waterways are all visible in official footage.

Named neighbourhoods, district counts and interior availability have not been announced.

Expectation is not confirmation

Returning landmarks, businesses and characters from the 2002 game have not been confirmed. Nor has any narrative connection to it.

We will list confirmed districts here as they are announced, and not before.
