Original report — Rockstar has announced an Extended Look
Rockstar Games announced on August 6, 2026 that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Thursday, August 27, 2026. It is one of the next major official looks at the game ahead of its November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar's own wording for the presentation is "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look." The company has not described it as Trailer 3, and neither do we.

The Netflix premiere comes first. The wider official release on Rockstar's own channels follows six hours later the same evening.
What Is Rockstar Showing?
Rockstar has announced an "Extended Look" and confirmed where and when it will premiere. That is the extent of what has been officially stated.
Rockstar has not yet revealed exactly what the Extended Look will include. Runtime, gameplay systems, missions, characters, map details and story information have not been announced, and we will not guess at them. Any claim about the contents circulating before August 27 is unverified.

This gives players another major official look at Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of launch, following Trailer 2 in May 2025 and the November 2025 release-date confirmation.
